Almond Cake Walk

I recently bought a perfume second-hand, and the seller kindly included a few samples. Among them was Almond Cake Walk from MBK, a brand I wasn’t familiar with, but one sniff was all it took. I finished my sample in record time and immediately dove into researching the house, joining their Facebook group, and ordering a full bottle as soon as the web-store opened.

I will admit, at first spray, it was not a love for me because the powdery notes were a bit strong, so I put it away for a few weeks to sit and decided to revisit it last night by doing a full routine with the whipped sugar soap, hydrating oil, whipped lotion, and perfume, and let me tell you, it's now a love! The almond comes through now and it is a warm, cozy scent that is softened by the powdery notes. I topped it with a little Nuts About You and smell delicious. Even my husband commented that I smelled really good when he came home.
