Cloud After Cloud

Eight months ago I posted that I wasn’t wanting to do another marshmallow. But I was working on one that I said would be the last and final raw marshmallow MBK was making, because I wanted one that fit us without feeling like we were just copying what was already out there.

And that is hard, because at the end of the day, a marshmallow accord can only change so much.

But here we are. Again.

Before I hung up my hat on it, I wanted to make it worth it.

Cloud After Cloud is really about the journey of trying to find another marshmallow in a sea of marshmallows and somehow make it feel like its own thing. Something that still gives you that fluffy, airy, sugary sweetness, but feels like it belongs here.

This is just where I am with this journey. I promised this one a long time ago, and now we’re here.
