Meet Love Story
This one is special. Inspired by Dave by Henry Rose, a fragrance originally named after the perfumer’s husband — so of course we had to give it a name that feels just as personal.
Love Story is that kind of scent… the one that feels like a memory while you’re still living it. Soft but confident, bright but grounded — like getting ready for a night you never want to end.
And my non-gourmand girls… this one is for you. She’s intricate, layered, and beautifully put together without leaning overly sweet.
I’ve smelled quite a few recreations of this fragrance, and none of them really captured what makes it so special. So naturally… I had to.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Tangerine Heart, Neroli, Pink Pepper
Middle: Lavandin, Orange Flower, Almond Blossom
Base: Vanilla Bean Chantilly, Cocoa Shell, Tonka Bean
Love Story was an absolutely delightful find. I bought this because the notes sounded fantastic so I bought the small travel size and I am positively obsessed with this scent now and planning to purchase a much bigger bottle. So good!
I don’t know what the original smells like, but this is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC- you’re just smelling your wrist non-stop with this on.. do not sleep on this one! This is not gourmand but also isn’t a heavy floral-If you ask me the prevailing notes, I honestly couldn’t pick them out, but it all works so beautifully together.
This is such a well done fragrance. I received it yesterday and I didn't know what to expect since I never smelled the original. I have sniffed my arm about 34 times this morning already.
